The “Biodiversity and Plant Genetic Resources Conservation Group” is made up of 12 people including researchers, technical and administration staff. Its research staff includes 9 university professors and full professors. Most of its members belong to the E.T.S. de Ingeniería Agronómica Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (Biotechnology-Plant Biology Department) and it also has members of the E.T.S de Ingeniería de Montes, Forestal y del Medio Natural (Systems and Natural Resources Department). The Areas of Knowledge associated with the members of the group are: Plant Production, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Agroforestry Engineering. The group is also part of two clusters of the Moncloa Campus of International Excellence (CEI): Global Change and New Energies and Heritage. All researchers have at least 15 years of experience in their corresponding lines of research.
